Hi and welcome to the site of STUDIOVHF, Photographer Stirling! We were fortunate enough to cover the Dumyat Hill Race again, since we last did it in 2018.
This time without the horizontal rain that we had back then! The weather up here is famous for it’s unpredictability and also today we had four seasons in one. This evening however, the glorious sunshine gave me the backlight that I love so much.
The Dumyat Hill Race 2022 attracted 350 runners, each tackling the 390m climb across 8km of tough terrain in the Ochil Hills near Stirling.
The Dumyat Hill Race is a running event organised by the University of Stirling. It is a fun and very challenging event and it doubles as the Scottish Student Sport Hill Running Championship and Scottish Hill Running Race.
We also spotted quite a few participants form the Ochil Hill Runners.
Because of the fact that I could actually see something through the view finder and didn’t get soaking wet and cold this time, I was able to cover the whole run from the very first until the last runner.
