A great day again in beautiful City of Stirling!

Just like last year we covered the Stirling Marathon, or #GreatStirlingRun.

We were awaiting the runners just 2 Miles after the start on the CraigForth roundabout and later at Causewayhead at 10 miles.

After I had chosen position a testmodel turned up:

She ran ahead to cheer up her partner Kevin who showed up at top position shortly after that.

What’s supposed to be routine job for me didn’t quite go as expected. The start at Craigforth went well, but later at Causewayhead I was struggling a bit. Perhaps the fact that I locked myself out of the car just before that had an influence? Or perhaps I have done to much interior and architectural photography lately?

I was struggling to find the right position but having said that, if I had I would have missed this shot:

And after the runners cheered me up I was quickly back into the game!

NEWS: The Stirling Scottish Marathon will be back in October 2020!

Sorry but , things move fast these days, it will now be in 2022: And that didn’t go ahead either…?
