Photography for the Falkirk Camera Club 60th Anniversary
On the 14 of October 2017, I took some images to replicate a group portrait of the Committee of the Falkirk Amateur Photographic Association (FAPA), taken in 1898.
The club as we know it today, was renamed Falkirk Camera Club (FCC) at its AGM of April 17th 1958, hence the preparations of 60th anniversary were in full swing.
Falkirk Camera Club Friends and Members
Over the last few years I have done various workshops at the FCC and I still visit some of their clubnights to get inspired and feel the community spirit. It was therefore an honour to be asked to take these historic images.
The images were taken at Callendar House in Falkirk on exactly the same location at 60 years ago.
